Day #4

225.2... Im starting to think im doing something wrong but technically this is only my 3rd day doing it again since i was sick day 1, and last weekend we were celebrating crap so i drank a bunch... but this number better drop below 224 in the next week or less lol.

Day #3!

Ok i just woke up and weighed myself at 224.8 i will edit this post later after i have done my workout probably around the same time i posted yesterday since i tend to do my workouts later in the evening.  I think from now on i will try to do all my new posts this way so that way later in the day i feel even more obligated to do my workout so i can finish my posts lol.

Alright i finished the workout a couple hours ago and am just now getting around to finishing the post... i burned around 600 calories and we tried to do the workout in the garage today since we had a spare tv and dvd player out there but i think from now on ill just stick to the living room. Sure i cant wear shoes in the living room but the garage is hotter and much worse for your joints, so i think id rather deal with my feet slipping on carpet instead of my knees taking a pounding.

Another Day #2

All these days repeating make me feel like this is ground hogs day all over again im just waiting to see bill murry... anyway i may be slacking off on updating this blog but i did do my workout earlier and burned off about 680 calories in the process.  i didnt weigh myself this morning cuz i was still feeling pretty crappy and drinking a lot of water throughout the night and i have no idea how many calories or how much protein i had because i didnt eat much and the things i did eat arent easy to track lol but i should be good to keep track of all that again tomorrow!

Day 1??

Ok i decided i was going to restart the workout today because my roommate wants to do it too, this way we will be on the same day and have that much more motivation. He is upstairs doing the fit test right now but i ended up getting food poisoning from this Mexican hot dog stand we went to last night... so im hoping this will all be gone tomorrow so i can just use my already recorded testing numbers and start the actual workouts again tomorrow...

Ill keep you updated again starting from Day 2 (tomorrow) but you probably wont see updates about him on here with the exception of maybe some progress pictures.

Day 4

I just finished Cardio Recovery and burned 289 calories, its a pretty chill workout day but it is not necessarily easy, there are some pretty tough balance exercises but i would say its definitely the easiest day of the 2 months! this morning when i weighed myself i was at 125 which is a step in the wrong direction but 1 pound is nothing to get worked up about that could easily be water weight so whatever im only keeping track of weight right now for reference i dont expect to see much improvement on that until a week or two in. ill tell you how my progress is going next time we meet... or tomorrow!

Day 3

Cardio Power and Resistance is done and it only took me about 700 calories to get through it, i managed to squeeze this workout in-between my double shifts at work today made the rest of the day a little rough since i was all wore out but overall i felt great. Its also nice to come home after work and not have to do anything except eat lol. Anyway not much to report on other than i did it and i still have to eat about 600 more calories for the day, ohh and this morning i was at 224.2 again but i also forgot to weigh myself until after my shower so its slightly inaccurate other than that ill be back tomorrow!

Day 2!

I woke up this morning weighing in at 224.2 which is a slight decrease from yesterday but since its day two of the diet and exercise i didnt expect there to be any change yet. Anyway i just finished doing the Plyometric Cardio Circuit, it is about 49 minutes long and i burned 903 calories by the time i took the HR monitor off. Which i think is ridiculas since i took a lot of breaks due to my HR being above the range it should be in i cant imagine how many calories i would of burned had i been able to do the entire thing!

Anyway i am heading for the shower now and then i gotta go grab some food because i am WAY under my calorie goal for the day after that workout lol. hopefully we get some more people to follow this and possibly motivate them to keep it up with me, Goodnight and i will be back here about the same time tomorrow!

Day 1 of INSANITY

Ok this is a personal blog i decided to start to help motivate me while i am doing the INSANITY program from beachbody.com. I have done the first month of it before but i was not watching what i was eating at the time and i did not really see much results, so this time i am going the whole 10 yards and making sure to track my calorie and protein intake. hopefully this blog will help me stick to it and maybe even help some other people keep with their plans! so make sure to follow this blog so i know someone is watching or else i doubt think this will help me much...

Anyway here are my starting pictures, I just weighed myself and i was at 225.6 lbs. My goal is to be about 200-205 by the end of the two months but i am aiming more for having my abs back rather than the number, i could care less what the number says as long as i look the way i want to!

On a side note all the pictures i take will be of me flexing just so its easier to compare results, from these pictures you can tell there is not a whole lot of definition going on anymore :/




EDIT: I figured i should add a little more info just for the heck of it so here is my first test results there will be another testing day in two weeks. i also bought a heart rate monitor that also tracks calories burned so i can more accurately document and track my daily intake. it cost me a few pretty pennies but i think it was worth it considering i have a heart condition i dont want some cheap HR monitor not giving me accurate rates!

Also i used to track my calories manually but now i have an app for my iPhone that makes that all pretty easy to do and its always with me so that is nice the app is called LoseIt, it is a free app too so make sure to check it out if you have an iPhone or iPod Touch! im sure there was other info i wanted to include but this is all i can think of now if something else pops into my head ill add it later!
